Dollar’s price increased ¢7.88


Last week market closed with the dollar at ¢518.34, ¢7.88 higher than the day before, after the Costa Rican Central Bank’s (BCCR) takes the decision of increasing foreign exchange reserves. Two months ago, the BCCR announced the possibility of intervening between the currency bands in order to eliminate abrupt variations in the currency exchange rate.
